Note… Due to the high water at Lake Sonoma we  have altered the course. The milage and total elevation is similar; 26 mi 4,456 ft.

The course begins at the Warm Springs picnic area. We climb up Rockpile Rd for 3 miles on pavement before turning right on Crossroad Trail. The north side trails are up and down with tight switch backs and several creek crossings. There are 3-4 very steep sections that will challenge riders to stay on their bikes. At mile 7 you will hit Rockpile Rd again and go right to Serpentine Trail, a ripping single track that drops you into Liberty Glenn Campground. From here the course jumps back on the pavement for 1/2 a mile and then back onto Serpentine Trail. There is a very technical, rocky descent on Wulflow Shortcut to Rancheria Trail. Here you go left and follow the traditional Hopper loop to mile 11.5 and then climb up Half a Canoe dirt road. DO NOT go to Bummer Peak! We will not be climbing Bummer this year. The course follows Half a  Canoe to Boar Scat and then North Slope Trail to Bummer Trail. Near the bottom you take Crossroad Trail and climb back up to Rockpile Rd. At mile 15.5 riders must walk across Rockpile Rd to the other side where the trail continues. The road is open and there is oncoming traffic. Here you begin your second loop. The second loop is the same as the first. However, at mile 25.9 you stay left on No Name Flat trail. The finish is at mile 26 at No Name Flat. From here riders will ride on their own back to the start area for lunch.
