Sonoma County Climbing Championship

Pine Flat Grasshopper: April 30th   Healdsburg  10:00 A.M.

We all know that Grasshoppers are training rides and not races. We also know there is respect amongst our peers for a top finish in the U.S. toughest training rides. The first rider who makes it to the top of Pine Flat will be “un”officially crowned and receive the “Spike of Honor”. Most importantly…bragging rights for a year. I rode the course a few weeks ago and the last pitch of Pine Flat, after climbing the Geyers, nearly brought me to my knees. Plan on approx. 70 miles and 8000 ft of climbing.
